"I thought I was having a seizure," said the teenager. "I was screaming for help, seriously."
This is something her mother said should have never happen to girls that young, without weapons, ONN's Cristin Severance reported on Friday.
"He was a man three times the size of both girls," said the mother of the victim. "He could have easily pulled them apart. If I was there I could have pulled them apart without getting harmed."
The 13-year-old and a 15-year-old were fighting in front of Whittier Middle School after both girls called each other names.
Reports do show that the officer told them to stop.
"I didn't hear him," said the 13-year-old teenager.
The seventh grader told ONN that she was stunned in the back while the other girl she was fighting was stunned in the thigh.
"I'm not trying to defend my daughter because she was wrong for fighting and she was wrong for not stopping when he told them too," said the mother. "But I still think other measures could have been taken before he used a taser."
The mother is now filing a complaint against the officer, Severance reported.
