Man Illustrates the Need to Film Police, Catches the ‘Cop From Hell’ on a Hidden Camera | The Free Thought Project

Man Illustrates the Need to Film Police, Catches the ‘Cop From Hell’ on a Hidden Camera | The Free Thought Project

“You wanna go to f*****g jail for some reason I come up with?….You wanna try me boy!” “Try and talk back to me again, I bet I could say you resisted arrest, or something!”

If ever you needed a reason to own one of the many varieties of hidden cameras, here is a huge one.
Brett Darrow had a run in with the cops before in which there was a disagreement but he had no evidence to support his claims, so he bought a dashcam. This would be the last time that Darrow got screwed over by police.
Darrow left his phone at a friends house and asked them to meet him in a public commuter lot so he could get it back. At this point the officer from hell pulled up, Sgt. James Kuehnlein.
Darrow captured this power tripping tyrant in his true form. Kuehnlein was fired from the St. George Police Department after the video surfaced. In it, you hear Kuehnline berating the driver, Brett Darrow: “You want to try me? You want to try me tonight? You think you’ve had a bad night? I will ruin your ****ing night.”

U.S. press freedom suffers under Obama, survey finds - Washington Times

The Obama administration’s handling of whistleblower Edward Snowden, the National Security Agency leaks and the investigation of a string of leaks produced a plunge in the country’s rating on press freedoms and government openness, according to a global survey released Tuesday.
The U.S. under President Obama, who once promised to run the “most transparent” administration in the country’s history, fell from 32nd to 46th in the 2014 World Press Freedom Index, a drop of 13 slots. The index, compiled by the press advocacy group Reporters Without Borders, analyzes 180 countries on criteria such as official abuse, media independence and infrastructure to determine how free journalists are to report.
Officials of the group said press freedoms were under attack around the world as governments grow increasingly sophisticated in collecting sensitive data and in tracking down those who leak it.
“Journalists are being caught up in what is, I think, fairly characterized as a rapidly growing surveillance apparatus, and this is happening all over the world,” said Geoffrey King, Internet advocacy coordinator for the Committee to Protect Journalists.

Google Data Proves Ron Paul Was Most Popular And Ignored By Mass Media | Minds

This is hideously telling.  Not suprising, but to see the numbers on a graph has put it into perspective.  Television networks have gone out of their way to ignore political candidates that threaten the reign of the fiscal kings.

THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO SHUT US DOWN

The Government Wants To Shut Us Down - tell them to get lost
http://antiwar.com/donate
When the FBI released a memo claiming that the webmaster and editorial director of Antiwar.com may be “agents of a foreign power” and that it was necessary to launch a “preliminary investigtion,” we were shocked and angry. Today, after the revelations of Edward Snowden, the shock has worn off – but the anger remains.

That’s why we enlisted the American Civil Liberties Union in a bid to discover the extent of their spying on us. A year into the lawsuit, the FBI has released hundreds of pages of their file on us – almost entirely redacted.

Clearly, they have something to hide.

Leave it to the State to know who their true enemies are – and go after them with means both “legal” and illegal. We don’t know what measures they’ve taken – and continue to take – against Antiwar.com. We’ll leave that to your imagination.

The US government would like nothing better than to shut us down – which should tell you why Antiwar.com deserves your support. Since 1998, we’ve been in the front lines of the fight against the War Party, and the FBI’s interest in us is proof positive of our effectiveness.

Help us beat back this government attack on the constitutional rights of Americans. Tell the FBI to get lost – and make your tax-deductible donation today!
