Doctors treat patients with pain-relieving cannabis as drug is used for first time in hospitals | Mail Online
Last updated at 3:59 PM on 2nd September 2011
Patients are being treated with medication derived from marijuana plants in hospitals for the first time as part of a trial.
Patients at North Manchester General and Fairfield in Bury were prescribed the drug, Sativex, which experts say can relieve pain by numbing muscles
The medication which is sprayed under the tongue up to 10 times a day does not give users a 'high'.
People who are terminally ill with cancer will initially take part in the trial but if successful, its use could be extended across the country and be used as a painkiller for other conditions.
Eight people have already been signed up, and 32 others will be recruited over the next two years.

Broke Cities Ravage Motorists With Speeding Tickets
By Scott Teeters
4-9-10

Recently, I was listening to Gerald Celente on The Jeff Rense Program on the internet, and Gerald mentioned that the previous weekend in the State of Virginia, almost 7,000 traffic tickets were issued in ONE WEEKEND!
Townships and states all across the Union are feeling the pressure of this Depression, so they are turning to police to help raise money through vehicle or traffic citations. Towns are installing surveillance cameras at intersections to catch drivers cutting a fast yellow light, running a red, not coming to a full stop, not stopping behind the line, etc. A camera catches license plate numbers and a computer sends the ticket in the mail. Pretty soon they'll just debit your checking account.
BEARS ARE MANNING THE SPEED TRAPS
Some townships, such as Medford Township, where I live in Southern
New Jersey, have lowered the speed limit on certain stretches of road, turning those roads into cash cows. I live very near one such road. Taunton Blvd in Medford, NJ has a 2-mile stretch that used to have 35-MPH posted. Now the speed limit is a crawl at 30-MPH. One morning around 9:15, I was sitting at the corner gas station at the intersection of Taunton Blvd and Tuckerton Rd and saw that the other three corners of the intersection had police cars with lights flashing like crazy while drivers were getting ticketed. The gas station owner said, "This has been going on since 7AM when I got here. One, right after another"

WTC7.net the hidden story of Building 7: The Collapse of WTC Building 7

Building 7 was the third skyscraper to be reduced to rubble on September 11, 2001. According to the government, fires, primarily, leveled this building, but fires have never before or since destroyed a steel skyscraper. The team that investigated the collapse were kept away from the crime scene. By the time they published their inconclusive report in May, 2002, the evidence had been destroyed. Why did the government rapidly recycle the steel from the largest and most mysterious engineering failure in world history, and why has the media remained silent? |
I Was Arrested for a Law that Doesn't Exist | Cop Block
Posted on September 02, 2011.

Here is the story about my arrest August 26th, and the reasons for it. I met Chris Nielsen, owner of Electric Cab of Austin, during my recent campaign for Austin City Council.
Chris has been waging a three-year-long battle with the City of Austin over his idea for a green energy business giving pedestrians rides in low-speed electric vehicles–all on a “tips only” basis. He does not charge for these services, as the mobile marketing company generates its revenue from advertising on the sides of the vehicles.
There is no law actually prohibiting him from operating this business, it is true, but, the enforcement side of the city–the police–have determined that the lack of a law regulating a business constitutes operating in violation of a law. Nielsen’s drivers have received around 200 tickets and arrests now, over a law that does not exist.
The Austin City Council has had this issue in front of them multiple times, Chris said, yet never seems to vote on it, always deciding instead to continue to “study” it, thus delaying it a few more months.Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent “studying” his very small business. The Urban Transportation Commission has recommended multiple times that the city issue him a permit to operate. Yet, our Austin City Council refuses to act, and ignores the business repeatedly and pretends that nothing is wrong.

Is living off the Grid now a crime?
Apparently living off the grid, off the land and without government assistance is now a crime that can land you in jail and cause you to lose your home.Government officials across the country are forming so called “nuisance abatement teams” to intimidate people into giving up their land or conforming to the governments demands and hooking back into the grid. Counties across the country are actually jailing people for living the way they want to live.
I was alerted to this video by a reader and was troubled and sickened by what the poor people in the California Desert are being forced to deal with. From being threatened with jail time if they don’t hook back into the grid to being thrown in jail because the county didn’t like the look of their homes, the people in the deserts of Los Angeles County are being terrorized by their government.

DOJ Advises Gibson Guitar to Export Labor to Madagascar | RedState
Wednesday, August 31st at 11:16PM EDT
The Gibson Guitar saga has taken a sinister turn.
It seems that the Department of Justice wasn’t satisfied with merely raiding the law abiding factories of Gibson Guitar with armed agents, shutting down their operation costing them millions, and leaving the American company in the dark as to how to proceed without going out of business.
Now, according to CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, agents of the United States government are bluntly informing them that they’d be better off shipping their manufacturing labor overseas.
In an interview with KMJ AM’s “The Chris Daniel Show,” Juszkiewicz revealed some startling information.
