Last night I listened to the fireworks; Boom, Boom, Boom, crackle…crackle….Boom…Boom. A part of me wanted to be happy, to be a proud patriotic American. I looked at the people lining the streets to watch the show. Most sitting in their lawn chairs staring at me as I drove by. The looks on peoples faces was not of joy. I did not see anyone holding American flags. It was this look of emptiness, a kind of “is this as good as it gets”.
It seems many people like me see the collapse coming, they know this may be there last “fake” fireworks show. The next time they hear BOOM..BOOM…BOOM…it won’t be from fireworks, but from tear gas canisters and room clearing grenades. It will be from sound cannons, and the march of “riot police” attempting to contain a public that will no longer be able to take our tyrannical government. The BOOM..BOOM..BOOM..will be the knock on your front doors, from looters, or worse yet, government agents coming to take your guns and gold; in the name of peace and stability of course.
