Hilarious Video of Speeder Trying to Bust Cop for Drinking & Driving - St. Louis News - Daily RFT
By Nicholas Phillips Wed., Aug. 31 2011 at 3:15 PM
At 6:30 pm, Lamb and a buddy were hurtling down I-270 on their way to an MMA fight when they got pulled over. Their mistake: speeding at 85 mph past a St. Louis County Police patrol car, which was going almost as fast.
Idling on the highway shoulder, Lamb noticed two things: (1) the officer had a female seated next to him in the patrol car, and (2) the officer wore a t-shirt, not a uniform.
Lamb says that when the officer approached, he threw up his hands and complained, "What, are you trying to make me look bad on my day off?" The cop wrote Lamb a citation.
Nothing wrong with that picture so far, says Officer Rick Eckhard, spokesman for the police department. Speaking in generalities, Eckhard says, it's common for county cops to drive their cruisers off-duty with family members inside. He adds that a car going 85 mph would be a "very noticeable" violation demanding enforcement.

Appeals Court Rules It Is Not Illegal To Film Police
Despite the mass hoax still being promulgated by both the mainstream media and local authorities across America, the First Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that it is not illegal for citizens to videotape police officers when they are on public duty.
“The filming of government officials while on duty is protected by the First Amendment, said the Court,”reports Daily Tech.
“The filming of government officials engaged in their duties in a public place, including police officers performing their responsibilities, fits comfortably within these principles [of protected First Amendment activity].,” said the Court. “Gathering information about government officials in a form that can readily be disseminated to others serves a cardinal First Amendment interest in protecting and promoting the free discussion of governmental affairs,” stated the ruling, adding that this has been the case all along, and that the right to film police officers is not just restricted to the press.

Besieging and Terror Bombing Sirte - by Stephen Lendman
In his latest article, Paul Craig Roberts calls America "utterly corrupt" and "certainly no 'light unto the world.' "
In her latest article, Diana Johnstone said "Western 'democracy' is in danger of being gradually reduced to a mere ideological excuse to attack, ravage and pillage other people's countries."
It's official policy, in fact, because the business of America is war, permanent war against humanity by military, financial, political and other means.
As a result, terrorizing and destroying the Libya that was continues, focused heavily on what's called Gaddafi loyalists' last stronghold.
No matter the death, destruction and human misery already caused.
Or that Tripoli residents are now terrorized by a continuing bloodbath. Anyone believed to be pro-Gaddafi is under threat of death.
No matter also that Sirte, a city of 100,000, is being terror bombed relentlessly, perhaps intending to turn it to rubble. It wouldn't be the first time Washington and its Western allies did it. More on that below.
Sirte is also surrounded. On August 30, The New York Times said rebels gave Gaddafi loyalists until Saturday to surrender "or face military action."
On September 1, Reuters said Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) extended the deadline one week.

Obama's Presidency On The Line With Jobs [Speech] Plan - West Palm Beach Republican | Examiner.com
Jeffrey Klein
, West Palm Beach Republican ExaminerIf President Obama and his Administration were working for a Major League Sports franchise, they would have all been fired a year ago and replaced by now. In the real world, where all the rest of us live, time is money--and the more desperate the "times", the quicker changes need to be made so as not to "waste" any more money.
But, this is not the real world, it is Washington, DC. However, even there, most physical laws still prevail, especially the law of gravity. Regardless of President Obama's prior meteoric rise to political prominence, with a nation of citizens [voters] growing more angry by the hour, including all segments of hisvoter base, Obama's time is running out. He alone has set himself up for the final draw, in requesting an audience of a full session of Congress--complete with worldwide television coverage. If he does not deliver, he will take the fall.
However, I hold out little hope that anything has changed in the mind of Barak Obama, especially in view of his incredible gaffe in parlimentary courtesy and protocol, by announcing to the world that he would address the full Congress, on a date which had not yet been "secured" with the Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH)--whose privillege it is to accomodate such a request.
