California legalized medical marijuana for seriously ill patients in 1996 and it is now legal in 16 states and DC. However, the Obama Administration wants to shut down pot dispensaries in California.

Obama's renewed 'War on Drugs' is ironically led by the Department of Justice while they are currently trying to cover-up the Gunwalker/Fast & Furious scandal that involves the federal government handing military-style assault weapons over to Mexican drug cartels. The guns have been used to murder people on both sides of the border.

More than 42,000 people have been killed in drug related violence in Mexico since their president Felipe Calderon stepped up his 'War on Drugs' in 2006.

Legalization of drugs will end drug trade related violence.

Electronic Voting Machines Proven Vulnerable to Hacking

Electronic Voting Machines Proven Vulnerable to Hacking

No political maxim is more universally accepted as truth than that the right to vote is sacrosanct. In a free society where the people are the ultimate sovereigns and where the electoral will of the people is manifest through the casting of ballots for representatives who will make laws on behalf of them, there can be nothing more vital than the protections placed around the franchise and the assurance voters have that this essential expression of their will is never tainted.
If the above is accepted as true, then the perpetuation of the American Republic is in peril.
To understand the scope of the threat to U.S. elections, one must keep the following fact in mind: Almost all voters in Georgia, Maryland, Utah, and Nevada, and the majority of voters in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Texas, will cast their ballots using electronic voting devices on Election Day in 2012.
Now follows the chilling report published in Salon: "Voting machines used by as many as a quarter of American voters heading to the polls in 2012 can be hacked with just $10.50 in parts and an 8th grade science education."

Prohibitionists Getting Desperate | | TheJointBlog:

With a political system that hardly resembles a democracy, it can become quite frustrating as a people to be so far ahead of our government. Let’s look at cannabis prohibition, as we so often do here at TheJointBlog. Cannabis prohibition is a cynical policy that’s failed beyond any reasonable argument, for a large number of reasons that we need not delve into at this point. This prohibition – this…travesty of justice, is becoming clearer than ever to the average individual throughout the country. In fact, who would of thought just a few years ago that at this point the majority (or at least close to it) of the country would be supportive of legalizing cannabis? The tides have been swinging towards sanity. The truth is on our side.

In fact, under www.whitehouse.gov, in a system setup for “We the People” to petition President Obama and our Federal Government, the number one issue by over 20,000 signatures is legalizing and regulating marijuana. There are three other cannabis and hemp related petitions in the top ten. The President has opened up a venue for the country to speak, and they’ve clear as glass said that they want a new approach to our cannabis laws. You would think that this would open the eyes of President Obama and our government, but instead – It’s sent them into panic mode.
